Welcome to Spring

The beginning of March; it’s a very subtle change in the seasons. We’re emerging from a winter slumber of long cold nights, extra blankets, hot water bottles, thick porridge, hearty soups, dark mornings and dreary commutes.

The central heating can be turned down, children are out playing in the parks, we're taking long weekend walks again and enjoying the crisp clean smells in the air.

We start to abandon our hats and scarves on a morning and there are the brave few who are sporting short sleeves, bare legs, lighter jackets. Invigorated by plans for the Summer we're dreaming of holidays where shorts and t-shirts, sandals and sunglasses will be part and parcel of our day.
