Our Ethical Promise

Corporate Social Responsibility encourages companies to take seriously the impact of their business on customers, employees their communities and the environment.

We look actively for opportunities to trade sustainably and to contribute to the well being of the communities in which we trade. Our own Corporate Social Responsibility is our Ethical Promise.

Respect our environment

We promise to proactively develop sustainability throughout our everyday activities and responsibilities. As a minimum, we will meet or exceed all relevant legislation and ensure that all our suppliers and partners have accredited environmental and social policies in place. We will work together with these companies to minimise any additional energy or material waste that our collaboration may create. Where no legislation exists we will seek to develop and implement our own appropriate standards.

Respect and support the people we work with

We promise to conduct ourselves with integrity and courtesy. Our aim is to build long-term relationships with our customers, employees, partners and suppliers. We are committed to trading fairly and promise that all our partners and suppliers have a shared commitment to social responsibility. Companies committed to corporate responsibility also agree to abide by international labour and human rights standards.

Communities

We promise that The White T-Shirt Co and Novotex are committed to supporting their local communities. Where possible we promise to source locally and engage with other local business and organisations to help develop long term relationships and economic sustainability within our communities.

Honesty and accountability

We promise to be open and honest about what we do. The long term aim of The White T-Shirt Co and Novotex is to have local garment manufacture in all of the countries that we trade in. Our aim to have UK garment manufacture within our first two years of trading. As we work towards this we are committed to being transparent with a documented chain of custody throughout our business.

We promise that we will continually monitor our performance and set objectives for improvements. We hope our Corporate Social Responsibility is evident throughout our website.
